Reflection
Our project was a game that me and my partner Alfredo decides to make because we go the idea from the game called “adventure of red ball” that looked simple enough to make and some difficult things for the player. That is when we got the idea of making this game that you have obstacles to go through to make it to the end and as you progress through the levels would get some what difficult, than making it a challenge for the player trying to not touch what is red and you have a certain amount of lives and whens they were gone you had to go back to the beginning and start all over. Some of the things I learned from this project where some of the mechanics like the variables and how they work. I also learned some things on instead of having a lot of variables for one thing that I can shorten it. I made the background and some of the sprites script and I think there of the challenging parts to it was when we had to try out the game ourselves and adjusting the red blocks to where it was possible to get to the next level that took some time and a lot of going back and changing it for the background. Then the next hardest thing I came upon was on changing the background to the next one because I had somethings that were not needed so then I took some of the things out and got it to work. For the sprites script the challenging part for me was when you moved on to the next level because you have all these variable like having and x and y positions , set speed and set y-vertex and how many steps to move and broadcasting the next level, I got it at then end by going back to the game we got our idea from it helped me find out how to do it and where they got the numbers from. For me some of the fun parts to this project was testing it out and seeing that it does work not the best game but it still works, then how we were playing it and we could not pass out own levels we created and we were really struggling. I think if we had more time one of the things I would like to improve would be the jumping to the game because there is like a lag or delay to it so does the moving mechanics takes a while to move sometimes. It would also be cool if we could've made more levels making it more challenging to the point where you really have to take it nice and easy to try to get through it. Maybe adding a score list like how got the farthest and more sprites that you can choose. Some of the things we wanted on the game where that it would have some levels and as you progress through the game the levels would get difficult. The next thing we wanted was the ability to change your character, have an amount of lives and be able to use the arrow keys.
